This Trust in Kids Heritage Guide, developed by the Saint Lucia National Trust, helps teachers and students explore the rich cultural and natural heritage of Saint Lucia. Through engaging learning and reflection, it introduces young people to the landscapes, historic places, traditions, and stories that have shaped the nation.
By encouraging students to understand past generations of Saint Lucians, the island’s natural, built and cultural heritage, the guide strengthens a sense of identity, belonging, and pride in being Saint Lucian.
This resource guide also highlights how knowledge of heritage can inspire responsible citizenship, open pathways to meaningful opportunities and livelihoods in areas such as conservation, tourism, and the creative industries and enrich the quality of life for all Saint Lucians.
