Member Area – Saint Lucia National Trust

Twenty staff members from Saint Lucia National Trust (the Trust) have completed a two-week course at the Royal St. Lucia Police Force Academy, from September 4th to 15th 2023, in Basic Security Training based on the training provided for Special Reserve Police😁👏During the training, they learned about how to handle physical evidence, accurately observe and record details both in daily logs and for incidents📝Trainees also learnt how to present reports and evidence for police reports and court proceedings👍Training also included basic crime prevention and how to handle various types of threats and criminal activities and was rounded out with sessions on customer service, team work, ethics and professionalism💪On Friday September 15th, the trainees underwent an evaluation before the graduation ceremony where they received certificates of completion🏅At the ceremony, welcome remarks were given by Inspector Keth Thompson, Commandant of the Police Force, followed by brief remarks from Mr. Ronald Philip, Deputy Commissioner of Police and Mrs. Jeannine Compton- Antoine, Director of the Trust😊Mr. Godwin Richardson and Mr. Vincent “Jeg” Clarke, Trust staff members spoke about the impact and value of the training received🤓It is expected that the staff members will assist the police in investigating any incidents or accidents at Pigeon Island National Landmark or other Trust sites😎✨Through this training, the relationship between police and the Trust has been successfully strengthened🎊Thank you to Royal St. Lucia Police Force for the training🌟#SaintLucia #SaintLuciaNationalTrust #RoyalStLuciaPoliceForce #RoyalStLuciaPoliceForceAcademy #BasicSecurityTraining #Training #PoliceTraining #PoliceTrainingSchool #ClosingCeremony #Caribbean #2023 ...
